Geraldine Papanastassiou

Personal Info

Geraldine grew up in Northern Ireland, on a farm in a fairly remote part of Co. Tyrone.  While studying in England, she met her husband Vakis.  They both realised that they had a great passion for the outdoors, the environment, hiking and adventure holidays.

Later with two young children Geraldine and Vakis decided to move to Nicosia in Cyprus so that their kids (Joanna and Helen) would be able to have a little bit of the ‘back to basics’ upbringing that both Geraldine and Vakis had.

More recently, Geraldine, Vakis and family have had hiking/cycling holidays to places such as Antarctica, Namibia, Cambodia and Greece.

Geraldine has a great adventurous spirit which is evident in her diverse travel experiences, from navigating the icebergs of the Antarctic to sand dunes of Namibia.
